Founded Unreal in 1988 after beginning to

write songs once out of high school that year.

’s home base was in Robert’s basement and he handled most of the business of the band before George joined.  He started playing keyboards around age 12 and taught himself bass at 16.  His favorite artists over the years have been Rush, Tears For Fears, Genesis, Sarah McLachlan, Jonatha Brooke, Esthero, Emiliana Torrini, Todd Rundgren, Prefab Sprout, Steely Dan, Level 42, Marillion, Hooverphonic, Bjork, Air, Phoenix, A-ha, Kevin Gilbert, David Sylvian & others.

In 1995 Robert toured Belgium, Germany & Austria as keyboardist with metal band POWER.  Recently he’s recorded (as engineer) NJ power-pop band Spiraling who’s leader has toured with the likes of Yes, Camel and Meat Loaf.  Robert also made a “trip-hop” cd with PORTAL in 2000 and a solo cd called RECOVERING DREAMER in 2001.  And as of late, Robert’s been very busy archiving all things 3RDegree into the latest DVD and Cd releases.

He works in television and lives with his wife and son in northern New Jersey.

It was George’s voice and song-writing

heard on his demo tape that immediately caught the ear of the band when looking for a lead vocalist to give the band that extra “oomph”.  George took over a lot of the business duties of the band once on board.  He joined in the summer of 1995 and was on stage by August.  His influences during his tenure in the band were Peter Gabriel, Donald Fagen and Andy Partridge of XTC.  George’s former bands include Kill The Messenger and a stint with Australian recording artist Johnny Diesel in 1997.  He currently plays in Newborn Pods with long-time collaborator Declan Power and solo in JuiceBox George.  George lives in northern New Jersey.

Rob joined with Robert James in December
of 1990 answering an ad in NJ’s East Coast Rocker. The fluidity of his drumming and technical prowess has proven invaluable to the sound of the band often making music more accessible and natural.

Rob has played in many bands since ‘s original disbanding including Well Baby and with Caitlin Jaene-Blue Hippopotamus.

He works for the telephone company and lives in northern New Jersey.http://www.caitlinjaene.comhttp://www.caitlinjaene.comshapeimage_10_link_0shapeimage_10_link_1
