Welcome to the home of the American (NJ) Progressive Rock Band
Welcome to 3RDegree’s home on the web.
Formed in 1990 (and based in Clifton, NJ) when founder Robert James Pashman (vocals, bass, keyboards) joined with drummer Robert Durham and started playing new songs as well as some songs from James’ former band Unreal, 3RDegree would be complete the next summer when Pat Kliesch joined as guitarist, writer and backing vocalist. In 1995, a lead singer would be added in one George Dobbs. Sadly, the band broke up in January of 1997 after their show at NYC’s famed CBGB’s. The founding members of the power-trio version of the band met in December of 2005 and decided to at least record again in the new year. In July 2006, they found singer George Dobbs and he signed on to this endeavor as well. In October of 2006 the band recorded the drum tracks for a new collection of songs signifying the beginning of the process and played 2 reunion concerts in April of 2007 with good friend Eric Pseja along for the ride. In June of 2008 both a new studio album (Narrow-Caster) and the DVD of the Reunion Concerts from a year earlier were released to great reviews. A new “Eco-Wallet” version of Narrow-Caster would be released in December of 2008.
